That depends. I believe that weddings are best captured in their entirety - from start to finish. This means being there for the slow nuances of wedding mornings all the way down to the hectic last moments. Because my approach focuses so much on natural, candid documentation, being thrown into a wedding mid-day disrupts the natural flow of the day and makes it harder to naturally join the rhythm of the day - leaving photos feel more rushed and less lived in. 

I do however take special cases into account. Because of time constraints or other reasons, some weddings may in their entirety be less than 8 hours. In these cases, I can work up a custom quote based on our discovery call and after learning more about your day and what all it would involve. 

For many full scale wedding days, a second shooter can not only be a great addition - but a necessity. Think about the scale of your venue. Will people be getting ready / things happening be in different spaces? Is there travel to different locations or different floors of the building (for example, a hotel)? Do time constraints mean that guys and girls will both be getting ready at the same time? Not only can a second shooter be a great use of your time, it can also mean a much more dynamic final gallery, being able to capture multiple perspectives of the same moment.

Elopements are designed for intimate, small scale weddings with a scaled back guest list, small or no wedding parties, and short ceremonies. This is not a budget friendly way to capture a small portion of your full scale wedding day.
